District Description

Saskatchewan, being the electoral district of Saskatchewan together with all those parts of the electoral districts of Edmonton and Strathcona which lie within the said province.

Subdistrict Description

Townships 35 to 40 inclusive, in ranges 16 to 20 inclusive, west of the 3rd M, excepting those portions of Mosquito and Red Pheasants Indian Reserves in townships 40, ranges 16 and 17

  • Transcriber's Note: Page one was done on 9 July 1906. Carmelville is the name of the "District" ["Saskatchewan" is the name of the Census District]. St. Joseph's Colony is written along the side of the census form, Louis Farcho/Fercho was the census enumerator, and seemed to have a lot of trouble numbering the households. I have tried to be true to the original (it was misnumbered). His spelling got worse as time went on. Some of it reflects his mother tongue because the rules of spelling are  not exactly English rules.
