- There are approximately 21,275 pages of recorded data in the
1906 Census of Canada for the Prairies which contains information about
808,863 people who lived in the Prairies.
- The chart to the right shows the percentage of the information transcribed
in each of the Prairie provinces and the census as a whole.
- We know of 98 volunteers - including
a team of 11 who collaborating out of the Alberta
Genealogical Society to complete a large City of Edmonton transcription,
and those who transcribe, type & proofread.
- Another team is from Saskatchewan
