LUKEY - Mr. Peter Lukey of Calgary passed away on Thursday, October 16, 1997 at the Rockyview Hospital at the age of 83 years. LUKINSKI - Roman Lukinski, beloved husband of Joanne Lukinski, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on June 25, 1997 at the age of 82 years. Roman was born at Sioux Lookout, Ontario in 1915. After the First World War he returned with his parents to Poland. When the Second World War started he was drafted by the Russian army to Russia, to prisoner camp. In 1942 Roman left Russia with the Polish Army and went to North Rhodesia, Africa where he spent five years and eight months. In August of 1945 he married Janina Sobolewski and came to Canada in December of 1948, settling in Brandon, Manitoba. In 1989, after raising two children, daughter Jean and son Bernie, he moved to Calgary to be close to his family. Besides his loving wife, Roman is also survived by his daughter Jean, son Bernie, and grandson Matthew. LUNDMARK - Nils Alfred Lundmark of Calgary passed away peacefully at his residence on June 13, 1997 at the age of 94 years. Nils was born on May 24, 1903 in Skelleftea, Sweden. He immigrated to Buchanan, Saskatchewan in 1928. His lifetime trade as well as his hobby was carpentry which he has enjoyed all his life. Nils was an outdoorsman and was an avid fisherman.
